Scope:
- support the development new synthesis routes and processes taking safety, scalable, sustainability and cost-effectiveness into account.
- planning of organic reactions with consideration of safe laboratory practice
- Undertake organic reactions in the laboratory, using a wide range of synthetic and purification skills
- Ability to employ analytical techniques to analyse reactions and samples (incl. TLC, IR, GC, LC, NMR, MS)
- Optimize chemical processes and workflows
- Exvellent protocolling and reporting of scientific data and progress
- communication skills in an international and diverse environment
Skills:
- Technical chemistry education, or a BS or MS in Organic Chemistry. Industrial experience would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of English
- strong knowledge of theoretical and practical organic chemistry and organic synthesis
- Expertise and experience in a modern chemical laboratory environment
- team working skills and independent working
- Excellent understanding of purification techniques
- Basic skills with Excel, Word and Powerpoint
