Our client, a company specializing in engineering and medical devices, is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to strengthen its team in the northern Vaud region. This individual must be trilingual (FR/EN/DE) and able to travel 50% of the time outside Switzerland. The role reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and develop the existing client portfolio with new clients and new markets.
- Influence strategy according to your clients' requirements and provide technical insight to coordinate all engineering, manufacturing, and quality activities with internal team leaders.
- Manage the client's RFQ activities.
- Provide consulting and present proposals to prospects.
- Grow the company's revenue and increase global brand recognition.
- Offer solutions for P&L issues with factories/clients.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Engineering degree, preferably with knowledge in mechanics, electronics, or electro-medical devices.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time within Switzerland and internationally.
- Experience in B2B sales with a strong track record of performance.
- Experience in developing new clients.
- Positive attitude: listening, negotiation, respect, and customer satisfaction-oriented.
- Organized and able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in German, English and at least intermediate level in French
